Transparent Privacy & No Cross-App Tracking
Retro Blocks ("the App") is committed to total user privacy. The App does not require accounts, does not collect personal contact information, and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. While the free version integrates Google AdMob to display non-personalized, contextual advertisements, no tracking identifiers (IDFA) are requested or used. Players can also remove all ads permanently with a single In-App Purchase.
1. Information We Do Not Collect Directly
Retro Blocks does not require account creation, logins, or access to sensitive device features. We do not directly collect, store, or sell:
- Your real name, physical address, or phone number
- Precise GPS location data
- Contacts, address books, or photo library
- Microphone, camera, or biometric facial/fingerprint data
2. Non-Tracking Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version of Retro Blocks displays advertisements served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). We do not collect or use Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) for cross-app tracking. As declared on our App Store Privacy Nutrition Label under Data Not Linked to You:
- Identifiers (Device ID): May be processed by Google AdMob strictly for essential ad serving, fraud prevention, and frequency capping. Not linked to your identity and never used for tracking purposes.
- Usage Data (Product Interaction & Advertising Data): Basic diagnostic metrics such as ad impressions and clicks to deliver advertisements. Not linked to your identity.
- Diagnostics (Crash Data): Technical crash logs and performance indicators to ensure app reliability and stability. Not linked to your identity.
No Cross-App Tracking
Retro Blocks complies fully with Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines and App Privacy declarations. The app does not request access to the IDFA, does not include App Tracking Transparency (ATT), and does not share your data with data brokers or advertising networks for targeted tracking across other apps.

3. Ad-Free Option via In-App Purchase
Players who prefer an entirely ad-free experience can purchase the Full Version Unlock via Apple In-App Purchase. Purchasing the unlock permanently removes all third-party advertisements. All payment processing is securely handled directly by Apple through StoreKit without exposing financial data to us.
4. On-Device Data Storage
Game progress, high score streaks, sound preferences, and unlock status are stored locally on your device sandbox via Apple’s standard UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to sync scores with Apple Game Center.
5. Apple Game Center
Retro Blocks supports Apple Game Center for global leaderboards and achievements. Game Center is operated entirely by Apple Inc. under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your Apple ID, passwords, or personal credentials. You can enable or disable Game Center in your device settings.
6. Customer Support Inquiries
When you submit an inquiry through our support form on this website, your name, email, topic, and message are securely recorded via Google Apps Script strictly to respond to your technical questions or feedback. We never sell, share, or use support contact information for promotional marketing.
7. Children’s Privacy
Retro Blocks is designed for players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). In accordance with Google AdMob policies and COPPA, ad requests can be flagged for child-directed treatment where applicable.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates or legal requirements. Updated policies will always be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
